Reminder ~ MVCC Club Pool Policy: Rule is stated on page 6 under General Rules in 2012 Recreational Newsletter, #4. An adult must directly supervise children under the age of 12 at all times. Please ensure that any children under 12 are not left without supervision from someone 16 years old and above. Social members are welcome to join the Happy Hour activities, if they plan on using the pool, they need to be the guest of a pool member and that pool guest fees will be charged. Questions? SPECIAL EVENTS AT THE POOL
MAY: Annual "School's Out Pool Party" - Wednesday, May 29th from 4:00 - 8:00 pm
Come by and enjoy the festivities. This is a celebration of summer and the school year end.
All MVCC members are welcome and no guest fees will be charged. Rain Date: June 12th (no swim team practice)
JUNE: Members Only Sundays: June 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th. Sorry, no guests on these dates in June.
JULY: Annual "Fourth of July Fun and Games!" Contests for all ages!
Thursday, July 4th from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm Please note: Pool closes at 6:00 pm, Overlook Grill closes at 5:00 pm.
This annual pool party is open to MVCC Pool Members and their guests only. Guest fees will be charged.
AUGUST: Annual “Back to School Pool Party" Join us for our last big bash of the season!
Sunday, August 18th from 12:00 - 4:00 pm All MVCC members are welcome and no guest fees will be charged.

Extended Summer Pool Hours:
If the summer weather stays nice, Mount Vernon Country Club will typically extend the pool season and keep the pool and Overlook Grill open for two additional weekends in September. Take a look at our September & October membership newsletter for more details in the Fall.
POOL GUESTS
We do allow Pool Members to invite guests to enjoy our pool throughout the season. Please keep in mind that guests MUST be accompanied by a Pool Member to use facility. Members Only Sundays: June 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th.
Sorry, no guests on these dates in June.
Fees: Children (under 18): $6.00 Adults: $10.00
FACILITY RENTAL
The pool and Pavilion are available during non-scheduled times for parties and receptions. Reservations must be made two weeks in advance. The Pavilion is also available for rental during open swim hours. For more information and scheduling, please contact the Catering Office at 303-526-3104.
EMERGENCY CARDS
Each family must complete an emergency information card at the Pool Office on their first visit. This information will help the aquatic staff provide appropriate care during emergency situations.
PRIVATE/SEMI-PRIVATE SWIMMING LESSONS
Private Lessons are available to those 4 years and older who desire individualized attention. Please come by the Pool Office and complete a Private Lesson Request. An instructor will contact you to schedule a time. Payment is due at the time of lesson.
Fees (30 minute lesson): Private Lesson: $25.00, Semi-Private Lesson: $20.00
AQUA AEROBICS
A deep-water aerobic exercise class designed to improve cardiovascular endurance, strength and muscle tone. This is a great low impact exercise program for people of all abilities.
