Welcome to membership at Mount Vernon Country Club in the foothills of Golden, CO.
Welcome to membership at Mount Vernon Country Club! The information below should enhance your enjoyment of your Club. In addition to the Clubhouse activities, Mount Vernon Country Club offers pool, tennis, platform tennis and exercise programs or social only memberships.

Dining
Mount Vernon Country Club features two restaurants, the Main Dining Room and the Clubhouse Fireside Lounge. We serve primarily buffet style in the Main Dining Room and you will have the choice of either ordering from our extensive á la Carte menu or buffet service in the Clubhouse Fireside Lounge. Take a look at our dining menus now! If some in your party prefer to enjoy the buffet, or others order from the menu, we require seating your party in the Clubhouse Fireside Lounge. We also offer casual dining at our poolside restaurant, the Overlook Grill. This restaurant is open seasonally, Memorial Day through Labor Day. Casual dining is also offered Tuesday through Thursday in the Clubhouse Fireside Lounge and lunch is available Wednesday through Friday.

Mount Vernon’s Smoking Policy
The Colorado Clean Indoor Air Act went into effect July 2006, which prohibits smoking in bars, restaurants and most other workplaces. At the Club, smoking is only allowed on the deck areas outside the Clubhouse. Cigarette and cigar butts are to be placed in the appropriate receptacles.

Reservations
We recommend you make reservations for lunch or dinner, so we are better able to serve you, and will have your table ready when you arrive. Bear in mind when making a reservation, we have 13 window tables in our Main Dining Room and 10 in our Fireside Lounge. We assign window tables based on the order of your reservation. Generally, we are unable to accommodate large parties with a window table. Reservations of 15 and higher will be referred to our Catering Department. Click here to make a reservation!

Weekend Buffets
We serve a King Crab & Prime Rib or NY Sirloin Buffet every Friday and the last Saturday of each month in the Main Dining Room. Making your reservations as early as possible will ensure accommodations on these busy evenings. Sunday Brunch is served from 10:00 am through 2:00 pm.

Holidays
Our most popular events/holidays are Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, and New Year's Eve.
They do sell out very quickly. You may make your reservation up to a year in advance. Once again, specific dining rooms and window tables are assigned according to the order in which the reservations are received. The Clubhouse is closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, typically on New Year’s Day, July 4th and every Monday.

Recommended Attire
Recommended attire for the Main Dining Room is ties and/or jackets, or business casual, including dress denim, on Friday and Saturday nights. Casual attire is appropriate in the Lounge, including tennis and/or ski wear. Blue jeans, T-shirts, and baseball caps are not suitable attire for the Clubhouse. However, you are always welcome to “come as you are” at the poolside Overlook Grill. We would appreciate that all of our members and their guests be respectful of each other. Thank you for your cooperation.

Dancing
Put on your dancing shoes every Friday and the last Saturday of each month for live entertainment in the Clubhouse Fireside Lounge from 8:30 pm - Midnight.

Our Events and Catering Department can help you with any of your catering/personal banquet needs.
