Mount Vernon Canyon Club features two uniquely different rooms to enjoy the breath-taking mountain views. During the summer months, Members can enjoy casual dining at our a poolside Overlook Grille. From our popular bi-monthly King Crab & Prime Rib Evenings to Sunday Marketplace Brunch, the Club offers weekly unique dining options along with a seasonal à la carte menu that focuses on fresh ingredients with a
playful twist.

    
 -Swim-

Our enormous swim complex features a 25 yard long pool with lap lanes, diving board, and a zipline! For the youngsters, the pool complex also features a 1 ft. gated paddle pool beginners swimmer area. The poolside Tiki bar, Overlook Grill, men's & women's locker rooms, and aqua aerobics are just extra perks of the membership! Group or private swim lessons and our Makos Swim Team are available for our Members to register for as well.

   
      -Racquet Sports-

Mount Vernon Canyon Club’s Racquet Sports Program provides opportunities for all ages and abilities. We have programming for juniors and adults including lessons, clinics, drills, leagues, socials, and tournaments. Our racquet sports complex boasts three hard courts, three clay courts, two platform tennis courts, and four pickleball courts. Our professionally certified staff brings decades of experience and cannot wait to assist you with all your racquet sport needs!

The Wellness Program integrates all aspects of the MVCC experience, including fresh, local farm-to-table menu ingredients, new fitness classes, and even financial wellness support! MVCC feels it is important to focus on ALL areas of wellness, including physical health, mental health and support, financial wellness, personal growth, and wellness for the soul!

Our History 

Founded in 1923 and named for its close proximity to Mount Vernon Canyon, Mount Vernon Canyon Club is one of the oldest, private clubs in the Denver area. From the beginning, MVCC has offered a laid-back, social vibe, providing its members with activities ranging from big band live music nights to a myriad of in-house clubs spanning all ages and interests from mahjong to movie nights, and from casual poolside events to formal cocktail parties and weddings. With an eco-friendly horse pasture, instead of a golf course, and activities such as running and biking clubs for members, MVCC has long established itself as 'distinctly Colorado.'

Nestled in the foothills of Golden, CO, Mount Vernon Canyon Club overlooks the city lights of Denver and beautiful mountain vistas including Genesee Mountain and the majestic heights of the snowcapped Rocky Mountains. The club offers luxury in an affordable and casual social setting and celebrates its proud and rich history with members-only dining, music and outdoor events, and rental availability to non-members for weddings, celebrations, fundraisers and business meetings.

Mount Vernon Canyon Club offers a beautiful swimming pool with outdoor bar & grille, a competitive racquet sports program with three hard courts, three clay courts, and two platform tennis courts, four pickleball courts, a fitness & wellness program with access to our on-site gym, and delicious farm-to-table cuisine all in one pristine setting.
